I am not talking here about the light in which one pores a thread into the eye of a needle and stitches torn clothes not or that light in which one sees his family and friends future alone. I am not talking also of the light which shows things in a limited area only.
I want to talk of that light in which man could see, suffering, helpless, innocent humanity, hear and understand and field. I with to talk of that light which does not deprive even the lowliest who live in hutments, of conveniences which their leaders enjoy. I talk of that light in which their thread bare clothes, empty bellies of their children and their wailing in pain due to different diseases and impoverished life could be seen. It wish to talk of that light in which the future of the society and the country is clearly seen along with the future of one's own family, and of that light in which weaknesses both ours and their are seen. I want to talk of that life where man is seen as man and the result of his actions clearly. I wish to talk of that light in which this world could be seen objectively and in which one could see his and other's future clearly, and the light in which every one could see even the smallest stain in his life. I want to talk of the light in which man could see the greatest achievement and its outcome very clearly and yet remain above any pride or sense of superiority, where man could see the reasons of his degeneration and decay and where every one could see realities of life. I wish to talk of the light in which man is free from all soots of doubts and could take decisions decisively and see the result of running after money, power and position by deceiving others treacherously.
There are very few persons in this world who like darkness, every one likes light because everyone wants to work in light, and can meet each other without any kind of doubts, and therefore one doubts the other persons and things. In darkness, you can not distinguish a serpent from a roup, between a wolf and a tiger, friend and foe, between man and woman, a policeman and a thief. In darkness any decision is full of uncertainties which are more harmful than good, because man does not know what lies ahead in well or moat; whether he is stepping in mouth of python or on earth. I darkness all lead life based on guessing which can be right or wrong. If the guessing is wrong, everything goes waste, life, labour and time.
In light, there can be no confusion. Everything is seen clearly. In light you can see friend or foe clearly. you can see the road ahead you clearly, curves, turns, ditches, which road is right or wrong. safe or risky. All this is possible only in light, and this light is only in the supreme. It is only in this divine light one can see everythign clearly. Yogeshwar Srikrishna said Arjun! among those, who give light I am th Sun. "Jyortisham raviranshumaan" (Geeta 10/21)
A the end of the same chapter he said, that among all things that give light consists only in God. All others are illuminated only by his light. He who works in his light can never experience any harm, rather he makes a constant progress till he attains the highest point of sucess and becomes a role model for others. In the life of such a person nothing remains to be achieved. Such persons never do any thing that causes any harm to the society or an individual. Those who live in such light are never moved from their principles even in the most adverse conditions. When a family, society or the country passes through difficult circumstances, examples and ideal of such persons help them come out from such a situation, and will succeed in future also. That is why our Vedic seers have given a formula of the entire mankind. "Tamso mam Jyotirgamaya" Lead me from darkness to light. So that even in the most difficult situation, one is not deviated from a righteous course and like an ideal citizen inspire others in society. There are many examples in history where persons by their courage and patience proved their greatness and inspired others to lead an enlightened life like them.
During shri Ram's coronation a very difficult situation arose which was not easy to be resolved by ordinary intelligence. The dilemma was that on one hand Kaikai is adamant to get her boon; on the other king Dashrath was determined to fulfil his promise. Third dimension to the problem was added by the revolt of people of Ayodhya, supported by mother Kaushilya to enthrone Ram as king of Ayodhya. In such a difficult situation Ram who was groomed by attained sages like Vashistha and Vishwamitra to lead the life of enlightened course forced everyone to listen to the voice of duty in the given situation, which saved both the family and the state from a grave tragedy. Bhagwan Ram said to his people that if they had true love for him then they should do that would not cause further pain to their king Dashrath and his brother Bharat and mothers. All the citizens of Ayodhya were ready to go to the forest with Ram, but to protect Ayodhya and keep it secured, he left them quietly when the were asleep. If such a situation arises today no leader will leave such an opportunity to let go from his hands, even if it leads to a great national calamity. political or economical. Similarly Bhagwan Sri Krishna went to Duryodhan as a messenger of peace to save the kingdom from a great destruction of men and money and at the same time saved Pandavas, his true followers from a very critical situation. This act of Krishna was indeed an ideal example of a true representative of people of sri Krishna had desired he could have directly ordered Randavas and declared war. But this would have brought blame to Pandavas and to Sri Krishna himself of misuse of his powers. Instead he gave a message by his action to the entire mankind of remaining steadfast and patient even in the most trying circumstances, not to give up the righteous course in life and always to be on the side of truth proving the Validity of the Vedic maxim. 'Truth always conquers.
He who follows the course of enlightenment is never harmed. His whole life is transparent. Where there is a majority of such persons every one is safe, secured and happy. Such persons alone can lead unblemished life. Both he who leads and he who follows an enlightened course are equally great. One who inspires to take such a course is also great.
One who treads a path in light, never resorts to cheating or deceiving to achieve anything perishable. He is pure at heart and in his actions and words, That is why there is unhappiness and suffering in his life as compared to others. He overcomes difficult situations easily. Therefore every representatives and build such a society in which maximum people try to go ahead towards light. It is only then that the family, society and the country can be saved from difficulties. This inspiration to move towards light has been received by us through enlightened sages traditionally and it will continue in future also.
Those who follow this course never experience unhappiness or sorrow. Such is the experience of all enlightened sages. Those who follow such illumined course in life can never cause any harm to anyone. If we have to save ourselves society and the country from all kinds of afflictions and harm then all our representatives should realise its importance and try to give this immortal message to all children through educational institutions and thus make our future glorious and make their working tenure a golden age in the history of this country.
