Only spiritual an cultural education can give the true development


Seers of India have always shown the right path of peace and contentment in life. They were the first to give the message of God to the whole world. The sages from India were first to discovered the solar system and planets and their satellites. They discovered the medicinal properties of vegetation and they still hold good and being used in medicines as were on different diseases. The search of God become imperative because nothing in this world except God can give man happiness and contentment.
Human beings in this world have only one common desire and goal to get peace and happiness in life. He tries to achieve this by his intellect. But there is no way to get that peace and happiness except the way shown by the seers and messengers. The way enlightened sages have shown is the only way that can take us to the life of peace and happiness and safety.
What is happening today no one wants to happen. No one likes the cases of kidnaping or rape and molestation. No one wants adulteration in terms of food. Do we want?
You must have heard different news of late. We here that presidents of egipt, Yaman, seriya & Jorjia had commited sucide and lebian prisident Gaddafi accumulated some 143 Tones of Gold. He thus posseses more than the Indian reserve bank. Despite this he could not led a dignified life and died miserable. Worldly riches can not give us the life as we desired to lead. We can not lead that life by inteligence also. however our great visionary seers head led such life and showed others the way to seek life as he desired but its our misfortune that we are not following true discourse.

In the year 1609 Galilio invented telescope . Galilio was scientist and philosopher observing from his telescome he reached the truth that the earth revolve round the sun and not otherwise. The fanatics called him insane and sentenced him to death. Others who had similar opinion met similar fate but later on when the great scientists said the same thing, they were credited with new discovery and invention. Despite these great achivements no scientific school of thought or traditioon was stablished after them however world was credited for fonding a new religion. This is really very unfortunate.
The seers of India were the first in the created world find an omnipresent power at once omnipotent and omniscient. They called this power as God. These seers had an unfailing vision and therfore declared that man might attain any intellectual height or success; he can not get an all abiding peace and happiness unless he has first realised the God. This message was then spread by Jesus chirst, Mohammad, Kabir and Guru Nanak. In due course different religious were thus founded after them. The same could not happen in the field of science. No school of thought could come into existence after scientists who discovered and invented scientific of physical truths in nature.
Now let us try to understand the great contribution of those ancient seers. suppose we take out God from all spritiual or religious scriptures what then remains in this world except sorrow, misery, pain and suffering what then is religion? scriptures are called religious texts because they deal and discuss issues performing God. In English we use the word God parent. The word God before parent adds an in explainable dimension and ennobling quality to the relationship. This added element is religion. Why else we don’t deal or discuss about God. Earlier we observed untouchability as a religious text. The food touched by some lowly untouchable was rendered unedible and if eaten by someone he was declared as an outcast and corrupt religion never gets corrupted. Today we are donating blood without any change in our social status. Docter uses the same instruments in operating different persons. Religion does not come in his way any more. however we still continue to say in general about religion out of sheer habit.
This is realy very tragic that we have failed to realised the essence of religion and confined it to sectarian food habits and life-systems. The religious texts declare loud and bold that the one who sustains this universe is God(Dhariyat iti Dharma) Knowing God is thus Knowing this vital truth, the Dharm. Mohammad once said that those who didn’t realise the God stand cheated. He furter said a person who breathes a single break without remembring Allah will be questioned like a sinner on the ‘Last day of Judgement (Kayamat) and his sentence will be the hell (Dojakh). This should be an eye opener for everyone. Just think, why is man alone in this creation given this human body? Apparently to make use of each breath in the service of God our master and protector. This is because no one else whom we serve can ensure the way of life we choose, and save our soul from pain and suffering of hell.
Is there any such being? Apparently not. Lord Buddhas thoughts greatly influenced the wester schools of philosophy. Those who have read Buddha’s biography know that once during one of his severe penance and practice of forty days , he heard the voice of God warning him don’t tighten the strings of lyre so much that they snap nor leave them too loose that they fail to produce any notes. The voice further added, “ A girl named Sujata will come with food relish that food today, your prayer is rewarded”. This incident in course of time was taken for granted that a prayer is essentially rewarded.
In Bible there is a mention of Saitan(Monster) who tried to tempt Jesus continuously for forty days and allure him showing mountains of gold, diomond and precious stones. Saitan said he would make the Jesus the master of all this if saluted him only once. Jesus replied that the holy text says not to salute any one except God. Saitan returned hopeless and defeated. Impoverished and starved Jesus then retired for rest. This great event who later on become a myth for people.
Roze, the holy fast among muslims were originally observed for forty days. Now they are reduced to thirty days, ten days are made optional. It is a common belief that fasting and starving for forty days can get you go God. The Arebic word for Roza is ‘Siam’, siyam literally means to stop. The question now arises how to stop before the goal is attained. And to reach the goal the master is inevitable. Mohammad brought the message of God from the void (Ambar) and become know as the messanger (Paigamber) of God. He spread the message of God among people with the passage of time Mohammed was reduced to the status of a messanger only our intellect can not comprehend the reality. Geeta offers the way out from such perversion and has been safely leading mankind for last 5200 years.
Lord Krishna said at the beginning of the beginning, “I gave this devine knowledge(Yog) to Vivaswan the sun. The Sun in turn gave this knowledge to Manu or Adam(Manu in Arabic) in turn gave it to King Ikshwaku and then it become known to other kings and royal seers. And thereafter this devine knowledge got lost in the womb of time.” The miseries sorrow and suffering present times are but the result of the loss of this knowledge from amidst us.
If we had kept this knowledge secured with us we would not have suffered with perversion we see at present in human society. No one is safe and secure today. We could not make even our progeny confident and reliable we hesitate to make our own children nominee to the properly. why so? After all he is our own Son. It is so because the present day education has failed to given among them the values of love, respect, responsibility and dignity of work. We can’t believe our own children to look after us in old age and provide with two square meals for survival. But the educational system of those good old days assured a happy life for every one free of such woes and worries.
Let us take yet another example of Lord Ram. He killed Bali but Bali in turn offered his son Angad to Ram to serve him in his cause. Is there any other example in the history of mankind that upholds the lofty values of righteousness and supreme sacrifice for the greater good.
Ram in turn sent him as his ambassador to Rawana in Lanka. Rawana tried to win over Angada to his side. He gave him many offers including giving him back his kingdom. He called him coward and even slave of Ram, but to no avail. Angada remained adamant and chided and mocked at Rawana and called him coward for carrying away some ones wife wearing appearances. He finally said if you are so brave as that you just unplant my foot from here. Saying thus he planted his foot before him in his court. Rawana tried all the warriors who failed one after the other. Thus humiliating Rawana in his own citadel Angada returned successfully completing his mission. This was due to the education given and received absent too then and is totally absent in the present . Today what we see is the total loss of faith. We don’t speak simple truths and take resort to convenient lies. This is largely because the present social atmosphere is charged with fear, suspicious, foul play, mischief and mutual hatred. We real every day such news of mutual distrust and professional unethical behavior. Servant drugging the master and making way with his riches, sometimes even murdering. We don't want such things happening around but we have no alternative. We see millions of ruppees spent on personal security. The same money can be used for the progress and development of our country. This is to be realized soon or late by the present generation to deliver goods to the coming generation. We should realize that wrong means and actions will result one day into sorrow and suffering. If this education is given in early childhood it will keep coming generation away from unfair means and actions the long and short of all this is that we need good education and not the cobwebs of laws. It is the education and not rules and laws which assure a happy future for mankind any where and every where. The examples of Angulimal and sage Valmik are testimony of the fact that the change in thought can change even a dacoit into a sage.
Mohammad sahab when he was only twelve year old was going with a caravan. On way a gang of decoits attacked the caravan and started robbing. His mother had stitched a gold coin in his sleeve. The dacoits searched his whole body and did not find any thing. One of the dacoits asked him, “ do you have any thing on you”. Mohammad replied, “yes, I have”. He tore up his sleeve and gave away the coin. The dacoits took him to their leader. The leader asked him, “why did you speak the truth?” “”we did not find anything with you during search” Mohammad said “My mother has told me, my son! never tell a lie” and told them, he consequences of what they are doing. His words had a telling effect and they threw away their arms and become his followers.
You have seven sons armed with weapons. How, would you feel if they start fighting among themselves? Certainly sorry and angry. We forget that God made Adam and we are all children of him. Then why and what for we are fighting with each other, to please him who has made us. Can an artist be pleased to see his own creation destroyed before his eyes. This world is also the creation of an artist the God himself. Don’t hurt any body’s heart . It is the most special abode of God.
Jesus christ once told a truth to his disciples. He said that it is easier for a camel to pass through a needle’s eyes but it is impossible for a vain to enter into the kingdom of God. He further continued that until your heart becomes as innocent as that of a child you can not be admitted into the kingdom of God; and remember while offering prayer to God that your brother is not displeased and angry. If he is unhappy the God will not even listen to your prayer. Love your neighbour like thyself and may be who so ever what a noble lesson Jesus gave to mankind.
No enlightened sage was ever born on this earth who has approved of sensuous pleasures. Is there any such doctor who would allow to eat curry of black grams and celosia vegetable and also treat him for swelling feet and knee pain at the same time. This is neither advisable nor desirable. A good doctor treats not the disease but its causes. Man has committed the original mistake of founding new religion in the name of persons who spoke and discussed about God. Who so ever he bw who talked of and about God is the follower of Indian philosophy.

Fifteen hundred years ago Mohammad saheb spoke about God. Jesus talked of God some 2012 years ago, while lord Buddha and lord Mahavir spoke of him 2500 years before. Guru Nanak and enlightened sage Kabir spoke of God 500 year before. None of them said that God can be sought outside of self. All of them said that whoever has sought God has found him with in heart.
“The picture of the loved one is with in the mirror of heart. Bend down your head a little and see it.”
Our neck is held high due to ego, and we say that we made many companions in the mirror of heart but all of them departed. What sort of companions they are. The companion that lives with us always and can be meet us with the our loving one is (Yatharth Geeta) which is here for you. Lord Krishna, the God supreme voieed it 5000 years ago. Hence this earnest appeal for all-
“Let we decorate our society in such a way if I am hungry then even you could not eat alone”
No father would like to see his children quarreling. Then will our creator whose children we are, be happy to see us fight among ourselves. And we say impudently that we are fighting to please him. We therfore need an education that will bind all in a common bond, because we are children of the same father and we have similar mentality. In times of difficulty and crisis if some one helps us, we don’t enquire about his religion or caste. He is like a close relation to us, because he has helped us in our need. You will welcome him treat him with hospitality. But our enlightened sages who had realised God said that God is one and he belongs to all irrespective of man made differences of caste, colour and creed. We have changed our habits and life-style but not the God, nor the Dharm. The Dharm is God and it is common and universal.
The ornaments of gold can be varied and can be changed by giving new shapes. The Gold remains the same in all of them. No ornament can be made without gold, similarly not even an atom in this creation can be made without God. The God is present in all and everything and every atom of this created world. Then why do we think bad and ill of others while Jesus was washing his disciples feet they objected and asked what he was doing. He replied you have to do the same what I am doing. The path to greatness starts from here where did this thought come from?
In ‘Rajsuya Yagya’(In Mahabharat) lord Krishna had volunteered for the service of washing feet of all guests and throw their leafy plated with the left over. Jesus’s grand-mother they came from Kerala. He is said to be in the company of Buddhist monk, and was influenced by Buddhism. After fourteen year he went to Israel and spread the lord’s message in European countries. The social ills and evils however were the same. The caste differences and untouchability was there also. Once he asked a woman for water saying I would quench your life’s thirst. The woman was untouchable. First she refused out of fear of society. soon, however she realised that he was no ordinary person but the messanger of God, and offered him water. Jesus blessed her. The way to come together is always shown by enlightened sages. Not that Jesus showed some other course for mankind. Earlier lord Ram had set the same course by eating tasted plums from Shabri an untouchable and delivered her salvation .
The enlightened souls have thus set such examples time and again to reenforce this message that we are one and we are all children of one and the same God.
Today we need such education of exemplary social conduct what is required today is to make people realize our original nature; That we are all children of Manu/Adam and our caste is he same that was of our father that we are all man. If we succeed in convincing this that we have ever been the same and remain unchanged even today after lacks of generation which is an ampler proof of your soree of your lineage. Then consider what is needed today. The present needs are in accordance with the present times. What is to be taken with consideration that traditions change with times. The traditions which prevailed two to three hundred years before and even the wars were fought to impose them upon others, don’t exist today. There was a time when sharing food or taking food together was considered to our religion. Do we really still believe in such things. A fly sitting on someone filth falls in other’s food or sits on other’s body.
“Birds fly fearless are never seen striking each other”

“What we had come here for to make and what did we make. And we built temple somewhere and mosques somewhere. Birds don’t have communalism. sometime they sit on temple and another on mosque.”

The birds are better than human being who never clash among themselves . They fly fearlessly and we are full of uncertainties as soon as we step out of our home. Therefore we should have such understanding, knowledge and education and accordingly we should insists on such type of education if we want to secure our future. No one wants this.
When America attacked Iraq we had asked president Clinton through our Ashram’s monthly bulletin. We had questioned him saying that he would not remain President for ever, but he would be held responsible when ever America would face any destruction. If our children pass through any destruction the father is responsible, who opened the way of destruction. Therefore if we want to secure our future, we will have to impart such education that no one staggers on his way and cheat others for any material gain.
